1998 Lexus ES300 Alternator Replacement

Hunter’s car took a crap again.  This time it started showing him his battery light while he was on his way home from work.  Fortunately he has a small commute because this meant his alternator was no longer charging his battery.

An alternator is something that we have never replaced, but as usual we aren’t afraid to get our hands dirty and undo a few bolts!

Alternators are what charge your battery. If your car doesn’t start it could mean that your alternator did not properly charge your battery the last time you drove. It could also mean that your battery is getting old and does not charge well anymore.

Top Bolt 14mm, 10 or 12mm for ground bolt.
